PORT ST. JOE — Construction crews have completed work on the State 30A improvement project in Gulf County.
Construction began in September 2013 to mill and resurface a 6.8 mile segment of State 30A between U.S. 98 and Cape San Blas Road.
Other work on the $13.2 million project included widening the existing travel lanes to 11-feet, adding a 5-foot shoulder on each side of the roadway, improving drainage and upgrading the bridge rail and guard rail on the Simmons Bayou Bridge.
