PANAMA CITY BEACH — Panama City Beach businesses, community leaders and law enforcement officials will join forces at a workshop next week to help promote a safe and successful Spring Break season.
Hosted by Regulatory Compliance Services (RCS), a subsidiary of the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association, the event will take place Feb. 24 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Boardwalk Beach Resort in Panama City Beach.
The workshop will offer free responsible vendor training from RCS, in coordination with the Florida Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco, to promote best practices for alcohol sales, raise staff awareness and educate business leaders about recent changes to local law.
Speakers for the event include Panama City Beach Mayor Gayle Oberst, Panama City Beach City Manager Mario Gisbert and Panama City Beach Police Chief Drew Whitman.
