PANAMA CITY BEACH — St. Joe Co. officials plan to burn another 150 acres in Panama City Beach on Tuesday, according to local forestry representatives.
St. Joe officials burned about 100 acres Monday in the Breakfast Point area northwest of Arnold High School on Monday. The prescribed burn will likely produce a lot of smoke.
The 325th Civil Engineer Squadron, Natural Resources Flight, also are scheduled to conduct a prescribed burn on Tyndall Air Force Base from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday.
