An Alford man was killed when his 2012 Harley Davidson motorcycle failed to negotiate the curve at County 388 south of Burnt Mill Creek Road Sunday afternoon, Florida Highway Patrol officials wrote in a news release.
David Perez, 48, was eastbound on County 388 when he crossed the westbound lane, the westbound shoulder and eventually struck a tree and was ejected from the motorcycle, the news release states.
The news release also states that Perez was not wearing a helmet. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
