Driver arrested after PCB street race

PANAMA CITY BEACH — Panama City Beach Police arrested a man Sunday afternoon on reckless driving charges after his truck struck a utility pole on Middle Beach Road near the intersection of Alf Coleman.

According to PCBPD, witnesses reported seeing the truck racing another vehicle while driving westbound on Middle Beach Road. The driver then lost control of the truck and struck a stop sign and utility pole.

 Officers conducted a DUI investigation and found the driver was not over the legal limit.
