Two Bay County 20-somethings were sentenced to prison Monday for criminal sexual conduct with children between the ages of 6 and 9, according to the State Attorney’s Office.
Anthony James Marshal Bennett, 20, of Youngstown, was designated a sexual predator after he pleaded no contest to two counts of lewd and lascivious molestation and a count of lewd and lascivious exhibition. Prosecutors charged him with molesting a 7-year-old girl and a 9-year-old girl in January.
Judge Michael Overstreet sentenced Bennett to 15 years in prison and 10 years of sexual predator probation.
William Joseph Lamont, 27, of Southport, pleaded no contest to a count of lewd and lascivious molestation for molesting a 6-year-old girl last spring. Overstreet sentenced him to six years in prison followed by 15 years of sexual offender probation.
